Chopard has been crafting amazing timepieces since 1860. The Mille Miglia collection of their sport watch line has focused primarily on auto racing, thereby being almost exclusively comprised of chronograph complications. This particular variation we are offering is a limited edition consisting of a 44.00 mm stainless steel case that has been coating in a Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) finish that gives a metallic luster and incredibly hard surface. A tachymetric bezel surrounds a synthetic sapphire crystal that has been treated with an anti-reflective coating with a beautiful blue sheen and a date magnifier lens that has been reverse set underneath the crystal. A black, split-level chrono layout dial with seconds/minutes/hours registers and an outer seconds track are highlighted in silver paint and Super-Luminova coated hands make the time visible in low-light conditions. A screw-in crown offers 330 feet of water resistance and flat chronograph pushers are recessed and low profile. A Valjoux caliber 7750 movement has been finished to Chopard's quality standards and contains twenty-five jewels and high accuracy and easy servicing, and is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. A natural black rubber strap with a tire tread pattern is finished with a DLC coated double folding clasp for secure and comfortable wear. The watch comes with box, papers and promotional pressure gauge.
Titanium and Stainless Steel PAM 060 Luminor Flyback Chronograph Wrist Watch by Panerai
Panerai's history is one that is very multi layered and fascinating to both seasoned watch aficionados and new collectors alike. The company was started in 1860 as a small workshop, watchmaking school and retail space located in Florence, Italy. By the early 20th century, they eventually moved to manufacturing diving equipment, such as gauges, compasses, underwater mine components and waterproof watches. They were almost exclusively a military contractor to the Royal Italian Navy and their watches were not available for sale to the public until the early 1950's. Panerai has a very distinct character and design language that can never be mistaken for any other brand.
