A 2.30 carat amethyst finds itself the focal point of this 10 karat yellow gold vintage ring. The four prongs hold the amethyst securely and then appear to merge with the design elements on the shank which tapers from 7 mm to 2 mm on the underside of the ring. The gallery measures 12.5 mm across its widest place and rises 6 mm up off of the finger.
